Dr. Abdulla Askar Babu has an experience of over 7 years in the field of General and Laparoscopic Surgery. He has worked in various tertiary care Hospitals of India as an Asst. Professor & Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon in Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences and Junior Consultant at Department of General Surgery in Lourdes Hospital, Ernakulam. Prior to joining us in April, 2019, he has worked as a Specialist - General & Laparoscopic Surgeon for four years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Askar Completed his MBBS degree from Tribhuvan University, Nepal and Masters Degree in Surgery from SBKS Medical Institute & Research Centre, India.  He has a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery and has also undergone specialized training in Upper and Lower GI Endoscopy from World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons, United Kingdom. He is further trained in Minimally invasive Proctology. To his credit are various National and International publications. His research publication was adjudged the best paper of the state in the year 2010. In 2011 he was awarded with 2nd position at the National Conference of Association of Surgeons of India.

Dr. Askar has experience in the management of a wide range of surgical conditions by Laparoscopic and conventional open methods and is an expert in minimally invasive Proctology as well.
